Jacobs Surfboards

Jacobs Surfboards was started by Hap Jacobs in partnership with Dale Velzy in the late 50's. Jacobs struck out on his own in the early sixties, during the golden years of surfing to develop one of the highest quality products and most recognized brands then and today. Team riders like David Nuuhiwa, Micki Dora, Lance Carson, Robert August, Mike Purpus, Mike Doyle and many others were proud to ride for Jacobs. The quality tradition started by Hap Jacobs lives on with talented shaper Matt Calvani applying the latest designs and technologies of today.
